Serving at New Life is a way to live out our mission of helping people find and follow Jesus. When you serve, you get to Reach the One—making a tangible difference in someone’s life, whether it’s through a friendly welcome, leading worship, caring for kids, or supporting a small group. Serving also helps you grow spiritually and build meaningful relationships.
Simply put, serving isn’t just about giving—it’s about joining God in what He’s already doing and seeing lives changed.

Absolutely! We welcome anyone excited to use their gifts to help people find and follow Jesus. Serving is one of the best ways to plug in and grow.

You can serve as often as your schedule allows—we plan teams a month at a time to make it easy. Even serving once a month helps us Reach the One and show every guest the love of Jesus, helping them find and follow Him.

No problem—just let your team leader know as soon as possible. We understand life happens and will work with you as we Reach the One together.

The Hospitality Team is dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming, and comfortable environment for everyone who walks through the doors of the church. Whether it's greeting guests with a smile, helping people find their way, or setting up refreshments, this team plays a vital role in helping individuals feel seen, valued, and at home.

Our goal is to reflect the love of Christ through genuine kindness and thoughtful service—so that every person, from first-time visitors to long-time members, experiences a sense of belonging from the moment they arrive.

Worship team is more than just music; there is the tech side of things too. Musicians, visual operator, camera switcher and operator, and online service host are all positions on this team. With front stage and back, there are unique handlings for these team members.

After an application is filled out and back ground check completed, there is an interview and audition process that the worship leader would do before team member could start serving.

We require all volunteers serving with minors to attend the church for at least six months before working unsupervised with children, youth, and/or vulnerable adults .
After an application has been accepted and background check completed, team member will receive the NLKids Operations or Youth Leader Manual and sign an acknowledge form stating they understand and accept the policies in place. It would be then that we could add you to scheduling!
